    Trym Sæther is a pharmacy student currently undergoing his 4th semester at the University of Bergen. He is active in local, national, and international student associations, such as FFU, Generica, NoPSA and EPSA. He’s currently a part of the communication team in FPD-include, working on improving efficient communication with our stakeholders and participants.

  • Aukje Mantel-Teeuwisse

    Aukje Mantel-Teeuwisse

    Aukje Mantel is professor of Pharmacy and Global Health and a pharmacist by training. She is former director of the School of Pharmacy (master Pharmacy programme) and the current director of the Undergraduate School of Science. In that capacity she bears responsibility for all bachelor programmes within the faculty, including the bachelor Pharmacy programme. Among others, she is a member of the Executive Committee of the Academic Pharmacy Section of the International Pharmacy Federation (FIP).

    Marie-Rose Blokzijl 

    Marie-Rose Blokzijl is a communication teacher within the Pharmacy programme. She was the focal point for the Intercultural Competencies at Utrecht University (ICUU) project and developed a course on Intercultural Competencies in Health Care. In 2023 she was one of the winner of the EDI prize of the Faculty of Science.

    Carmen Pérez-García

    Carmen Pérez-García is Vice-Dean for students, teaching and internationalization. Among other responsibilities, she oversees the curricular content of the Pharmacy degree and coordinates all the COILs organized at the School of Pharmacy. She has directly organized 6 COILs. She is member of the FIP AIM working groups and of the Panel of experts of SEPIE (Erasmus+ National Agency of the European Commission).

    Paola Otero Gómez is Deputy Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Academic International Coordinator at the School of Pharmacy San Pablo CEU. She has directly organized 6 COILs. She is member of the FIP AIM working groups and of the Panel of experts of SEPIE. Within this panel she has evaluated several Erasmus+ proposals in KA1 and KA2.

    Vice-Dean Mia Sivén has the responsibility for the Faculty of Pharmacy's digitalisation development alongside her responsibilities related to teaching and education. In terms of research on learning, she specialises in the development of interactive digital learning environments and AR/VR applications. Mia Sivén is a fellow in the Teachers’ Academy.

He is responsible for the pedagogical management of the degree programme, including the competence-based implementation of the programme’s teaching and its research-based development in line with the strategic objectives of the University of Helsinki.

    Docent Nina Katajavuori works as a senior lecturer in university pedagogy in the Centre for University Teaching and Learning (HYPE) at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. She is responsible for the pedagogical development and support at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Her areas of responsibilities are related to the development of teaching practices and education, training of university staff, and research on teaching and learning.

    Ilkka Miettinen

    Dr. Ilkka Miettinen acts as a university instructor in the digitalization of teaching in the Faculty of Pharmacy while carrying out post-doctoral research on sustainability education in the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS). He leads various e-learning development projects for the degree programmes in pharmacy and provides digipedagogical support for other teachers in the faculty.

    Anniina Tammisalo works as a project planner in improving teaching and the accessibility of pharmacy studies. With a background in both pharmacy and other natural sciences, she is a part of Generation Green, a task force aiming to bring more sustainability and environmental angles to the teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
